Dear Friends of PRAC:

The 39th Anniversary Gala of the Puerto Rican Action Committee of Southern New Jersey, Inc. will be held on Friday, October 15, 2010. This commemorative event is in celebration of 39 years of accomplishments for our community, and will take place at the Washington Club. in Penns Grove NJ. In the past many individuals from the community, private nonprofit, public and business sectors of the State of New Jersey have attended this celebration and helped make this event a success.

As you know 2010 has brought us many challenges, politically, fiscally, and programmatically. Some of the programs have been drastically reduced from our 2009 level. During the economic downturn and large budget cuts, we have continued to provide our services to a growing number of residents throughout Southern New Jersey. The increase in services to our clients includes emergency food, utility assistance, rental assistance, etc. Your contribution to this event will allow us to continue to provide these vital services to the community as a whole.

A Commemorative Program Book will be prepared for this activity that will include advertisements of corporate supporters, area businesses, community organizations, citizens, and recognition of institutions and individuals that have supported us throughout the years. Free copies of the book will be distributed and made available at the event, and throughout the Hispanic and non-Hispanic community of Southern New Jersey making it very useful for advertising purposes.

We are hereby respectfully requesting you to be part of this commemorative event by placing an advertisement in the Program Book. Advertising in the program book will increase awareness of the services your organization, business or institution provides as well as your support to this organization. This year we will post on our website all of our supporters "please join us in this endeavor".
